Earth Day 2025
Kings River Watershed Partnership and Clear Springs middle schoolers partnered on an Earthday project. Beginning the day with a tour of some bridges on Osage Creek, then pizza and a quick swim. Then removing a 1956 Cadillac car body and old gas range from the bank of Osage Creek.
Thank yous go to Mike and Louan Shudy, Hunnicut Tree Service and Carroll County Solid Waste.
Don't miss the Madison County cleanup this Saturday at 8am sharp at the Marble Access one mile west of Marble. Bring your boat and a sack lunch.
March 2025 Annual Meeting and Award Recipients
Erin Scott with H2O Ozarks/ Fayetteville, reviewed the watershed plan for the Upper White River basin. The public comment for the watershed plan has been extended. For details check out their website at h2ozarks.org. You can also get involved in the watershed plan for Table Rock Lake.
Ray Warren gave a presentation on sediment transport and how it affects water quality on Kings River.
Thank you to the folks at Pack Rat Outdoor center in Fayetteville for their help with the Pescador 10.0 kayak for our raffle. Tickets are available at Hanby Lumber through April and also at Kings River Outfitters through May.
